王維《山居秋暝》Full Translation
原文：
空山新雨後，天氣晚來秋。
明月松間照，清泉石上流。
竹喧歸浣女，蓮動下漁舟。
隨意春芳歇，王孫自可留。
Translation:
空曠的山上剛下過一場雨，又正是傍晚秋涼的天氣。
明月的月光映照在松樹林間，清澈的泉水在山石上流過。
竹林裏傳來的喧鬧聲，是洗衣姑娘歸來了；溪中的蓮葉搖動起來，是漁舟從這裏順流而下。
任由春天的花花草草凋謝，眼前的景色已可讓隱居的詩人留在山中，不必歸去。
Translation
1. 暝：暮色，夜色
2. 竹喧：竹林裏的喧鬧聲。
3. 浣女：洗衣女。
4. 隨意：這裏是「任由」之意。
5. 春芳：春天的花花草草。
6. 歇：停息，指花草的衰謝。
7. 王孫：原意是貴族的後裔，後為貴家公子的通稱，這裏指像詩人一樣的隱士。
Author's background
王維（公元692年－公元761年），字摩詰，號摩詰居士，祖籍山西祁縣，號稱「詩佛」。王維晚年因為對官場感到厭倦，更享受隱居生活，因此王維後期的作品的題材往往都係圍繞退隱生活、田園山水或是自然景物，而且帶有佛家思想。所以王維的詩善寫靜中之趣，五言尤勝，亦兼具禪理和畫意。
Background to the article
王維晚年在此處過着半官半隱的生活zxab 這首詩是王維居於終南山輞川時所寫，詩中的「山居」就是他所住的「輞川別墅」。詩中描寫了清新、秀美的秋晚山景，亦寫出詩人對山中恬淡生活的嚮往。

此詩體裁為 五言律詩，全文共有 八句 及 四聯，當中頜聯及頸聯對仗
