My name is Corey Chang, and I am a recent history major graduate from the University of British Columbia who, funnily enough, has spent most of his primary and secondary studies in Hong Kong's international section. And prior to outlining what I can offer, I will first admit that I have no tutoring experience and have left to study in Vancouver upon completing my tenth year (Secondary 4) in 2018, so that I have not completed my studies in IGCSE. I am not a tutor so much as hoping to enter the field as one, and I therefore have yet to prove that I can offer what an experienced, full-time tutor can provide. What I can prove as a potential history and English tutor are my academic qualifications. Complementing my native fluency in the English language, I have graduated from Langara College (Associate of Arts) and UBC (Bachelor of Arts) with high distinction, and I believe I have both the knowledge and skills needed to excel in both subjects. Although I have not completed IGCSE, I have rigorously studied its curriculum during my later secondary years (Grade 9 and 10) and have achieved very high marks in the two officials exams I did take during my tenth year, one of which being for English, with which my marks were the highest of all the students in my grade. With both in mind, I am confident that I can quickly familiarize myself with the new British curriculum and its learning materials for both subjects, and I will not hesitate to provide documents and academic transcripts upon request, should one wish for me to support my claims. And for what it's worth, it is my desire to continue learning and a genuine interest in sharing what I have learned over the years, which motivates me into becoming a tutor. I am hoping to seek clients with the intent of gaining work experience for the near-future, whether in or out of the academic world, and I do not intend to charge any potential clients for their first tutorials, to ensure that I am worthy of their time. Until then, I am intent on learning the craft of a tutor and am open to flexible work days/times, preparing notes and materials, and providing teaching services outside of tutorials, such as proofreading and editing documents.

My name is Corliss and I'm currently in my final year of university reading English and Hong Kong Law (LLB/JD) as a dual degree programme offered by King's College London and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I speak both English and Cantonese at a native level. I would be interested in tutoring anyone who needs assistance with their (I)GCSE or A-level preparations.
